tracksy
Tracksy is another new counter in our test, and it ranks high when compared to the competition. Maybe you should read this entire article to find out more about this tracker. Most of the common options are available in Tracksy, but we are missing one important data point: the total number of visitors since start of the counter. You can eventually track this, by displaying the counter on your website, but it is nicer to select the invisible option of Tracksy. You can track all pages of your website, but you need to have less than 25,000 pageviews per month to keep the free version. If you want to show your visitors your stats, then you can present them the public stats, but these are very limited. The full stats are, of course, available after you login to your private account. There is a lot of information about referrers, and that is very good since this is generally very valuable information. We struggled a bit with the speed of the code, it is fairly slow, but this can be related to where you are relative to the server that hosts the tracksy services.
If you are using Blogger, then you can't get it easier than this: tracksy can automatically include the tracker code on all your blogger pages. You have to provide your blogger account details and password, and this is of course a risk, although we think there is not really a chance that this is misused.
You can export tracksy data to csv files for further analysis in your favorite spreadsheet program.
Tracksy is supposed to be able to monitor the connection speed of your visitors, but in our case the results were disappointing, since it showed 99% unknow. The demo has some better data, although still a large percentage unknowns.
The tracksy tracker scores in the top 10 of our list of free counters and trackers. This is certainly a candidate to consider if you are looking for a tracker for your website.
