StatCounter number one free tracker

There is a new number one free tracker in this test, and its name is StatCounter.

StatCounter has improved recently so much, that it beats the competition with a significant margin. The reporting options of StatCounter are unmatched. It allows you to select start and end dates freely, and also measurement units, (day, week, month, quarter or year reporting), and you can save your personal preference to your default the next time you logon to your StatCounter stats. In addition the reporting options on referrers, search engines and search keywords are best in class. This tracker also can be used to measure entry and exit pages, and the paths that your visitors follow through your site. You can also analyze individual user behavior by zooming in into their IP addresses.

Is there only positive news here? Well there is a limitation to the free tracker, it will provide detailed statistics (such as browser usage) based only on the last 100 visitors. You can increase this limit by considering a paid account, starting from nine dollars per month. This may be worthwhile if you entertain a lot of visitors.

StatCounter is now the number 1 tracker in this test. Our congratulations are to the StatCounter team, and of course we advise you to get one for your own website.

I use this counter now on two websites. The one above and site I made for girlfriend. http://raven.aigleridingboots.com/ I realy like it. It is a pitty that it only give the tracking info for the last 100 vistors. I wicht they increased this number to 500 or 1000. The money for upgrade 1000 is too much in my opinion.

I agree with your review 100%. I’ve found statcounter really good. But how do we stop the adware/malware etc applications & sites from scaring off wb usrs about it? As a webmaster all I want to know is what pages to visitors access, what browsers are they using, what resolution etc so I can make my website suitable for them!!
